Hey I'm hoping someone can help because I can't get on live chat with Focusrite at the moment, and this issue is persisting.

Ive just bought a refurbed 2017 MacBook Pro (16gb ram, 1TB SSD, i7 quad core, 3.1ghz) and 2 Dongles to connect my Sapphire pro 40 (Firewire 800 to thunderbolt 2 & thunderbolt 2 to thunderbolt 3 USB-C) And it still won't show as a connected device.

I have followed what is advised on the Focusrite website and checked to ensure that it is still compatible with this Mac (and it is) but for some reason I still can't get it to work.

When I go to system information I can see under the Firewire tab that it has picked up the sapphire pro meaning the dongles must be working right? really hope someone can help thanks.
