I do summation on an analog console with 2 motu 828mk2 in sync.
so 20 physical outputs (I do not use the spdif and adat).

I only record in real instrumentals and old, acoustic guitars, bass voice (bcp) drums, dobros, brass, guitar amps etc on elec ... C12 AKG C 414 AU or 6176 AKG AVALON 737.
utilisationen the separated outputs and sync works perfectly, very stable.
