UTILIZATION
Reliable driver (except in early 2008)
I recorded with dozens of trails in all directions, input output, headphone and routing pushed, and it rarely fails to.
Almost zero latency.
GETTING STARTED
Not really, at the time the pilot was outdated, conflict with the map of the computer etc. ... since everything is settled.
OVERALL OPINION
Excellent sound card starts dating but is staying on top of its class for a decade.
If interesting opportunity (700 euros) the user can only be satisfied because it is a gas plant.
Even today, the difference with the newer model will remain inaudible to 80 percent of users, unless you have a string of really high audio quality.
The internal routing is really complete and can replace a mixer for small studios if we branch a good control surface.
Only default it works with firewire now when most of his card can be used with a usb.
