Having had a mackie VLZ PRO and a Yamaha, both 16-channel mono, I bought the zed 436 because I'm a bit tired of the two consoles with a slave as 16 mono channels do enough for us more ds that uses an acoustic drum kit.

I am in heaven!

First, six auxiliary dpart the foot. All musicians have their personal return with all levels adjustable, finished the galleys back

equalizer parameter, the quality of the medium rather mmmmhhh ...., I get hassle free warmth and clarity of a microphone with a Shure Beta SM 58.

I use the facade and the stereo subwoofer volume spar => big sound assurbr />
There were no effects intgrs

BUT ..... BIG advantage of USB return. I take every efffets plug ins in my pc (SONAR LE included with the zed 436, thus ensuring license !!!), and the SAME TIME I record live on one track, the quality of the recording is the rendezvous.

A direct output or 32 out BY TRACK!

1 alim fantome BY TRACK finish to overtake the risk of damaging the canal or dynamic mic
4 BUSD

there is a matrix for the Self-Employed recording volume for all outputs (master, monitor, buses, ...)

And the price: 1550 euro for all this !!!!!

Frankly, between a LX7 II and Zed 436, there is no picture (I have long used the LX7, I'm happy but less than the zed 436)

UTILIZATION

Light manual

the configuration of the effect from the usb is a bit complicated but you just have to concentrate

usual function ok PFL, mute per channel, talk back assignable all returns and facades atc ...

SOUNDS

equalizer very efficient (we must know rgler ;-)

short breath

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 15 days and I'm always on (not)
Other models essays: Mackie VLZ PRO LX7II Soundcraft, Yamaha MG

Choice again without hesitating if necessary
