Thread Help regarding the Scarlett Solo 2nd gen + MXL 770

So I have the Scarlett Solo 2nd gen mixer along with the MXL 770 microphone, everything is brand new including the XLR cable, I use it for online gaming, discord etc.
For some reason, there are times where the microphone turns robotic and i need to unplug the usb slot from the PC and put it in another one to fix it, and when it happens again do it again, im so confused. Anyone help?
