Hey folks!

- Would it be possible to use the monitor output of the Scarlett i2i as a sidechain signal for a (post) compressor?

- If I want to gate my audio signal, do I need a return signal from my compressor? How could this be realized with an interface? (e.g the 6i6)

(On the bottom line, I am trying to realize a propper setup for a compressor after my interface, with a sidechain connection.)


Thanks for the help! I hope my question isn't to general to be answered in this forum.
