I bought a Scarlett Solo
This is what I tried:
coming out of amp's headphone/record jack (then mini plug to 1/4" adapter) to 1/4" guitar input on Scarlett Solo

I get a horrible loud hmm! (I'm monitoring the sound through the headphone out of my Scarlett)

Here's the thing
I used to do the exact same thing into an M-Audio Fast Track and it worked great.

* all of the cables and adapters are working fine
* the headphone out jack of my Mustang Amp works fine (I checked by plugging in my headphones!!)

Any ideas?
