Hello .
I'm thinking to get a Scarlett 6i6 , i need to know if the line inputs and volume control will work fine without usb connection or with the pc off .
I want to use it with a standalone guitar interface plugged in the line in and studio monitors in the line out of the 6i6.

I actually have a line 6 Ux1 and the sound without usb conection is too low.
I have to plug the monitors in the guitar interface directly or turn on the pc to play guitar and get full sound.

Hi Santi,

Yes, the Scarlett 6i6 can operate in a 'stand-alone' mode. You are required to save your Mix Control settings to the hardware whilst connected to your computer, once that is done, the 6i6 will operate stand-alone (i.e. not connected to your computer) with the Mix Control settings you have saved onto it.
