Hey guys,

I just bought a Pro 40 and it didn't come with an install cd-rom.

Guy at the store said focusrite have decided to stop using cd-roms but I don't know how to install the drivers.

Obvs my mac isn't picking up the saffire.

Halp!

Hi,

You should download them from the website.if you download mix control the drivers will also install. ( imbeded in the software)

Here: mix control 3.5 optimized for saffire on Yosemite

After that your interface will be seen by your mac.

Probably you should restart once or twice before the interface gets active.
If not just start mix control and if necessary your hardware will get a firmware request.

This all is part of an automated process.

I had to install a scarlett 18i20 and got an firmware update aswell.

Hey Angelie,

Thanks so much for your help.

Since i'm still running on Mountain Lion, I downloaded the previous version of mixcontrol, rebooted and got it all sorted.

Cheers!

Good to hear it is all working... :-)
