Electro-Harmonix announces the release of a new Deluxe version of its iconic Big Muff Pi distortion/fuzz pedal for guitar.
The Deluxe Big Muff Pi is bigger than the original, with a look that is similar to the Bass version launched in 2011, but with different controls. And while the Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi sports a green and black finish, the guitar version is red and black.
Electro-Harmonix added on this new version a foot switchable Mids section with central frequency and boost/cut controls, a noise gate with a dedicated knob, an attack knob, a low-boost switch and you can add an expression pedal to sweep the mid frequencies.
The Deluxe Big Muff Pi also features a true bypass and is powered by a 9V battery or an external supply. US street price is around $159.
You’ll find all the details about this new version at www.ehx.com.
