This pedal is outstanding, and Wren Cuff manufacturer well known for its extraordinary recreation of muffs, dissected countless Ram's Head Muff (considered one of the most beautiful muffs) to recreate this pedal quite unique. This is a recreation of the pedal more faithful to the original as possible: same chassis (large!), Same knobs (volume, tone, gain), the same circuit, but with components of exceptional quality.
This is more than a foot, it is a work of art.
It could not be easier, 3 knobs, and yet it is very versatile.
Premier Guitar pedal calls this "the closest experience you can do a classic Ram's head." In short, it SOUND of the Ram's Head.
It is perfect for sound ala David Gilmour leads a magnificent velvet fuzz sound mix, as the big power chords very powerful.
The knob "tone" is powerful enough, varying sound qqchose very modern / aggressive qqchose much more mellow, but all are beautiful and sounds correspond to given situations.
Note that for a muff, it is rather quiet (those who had old muffs know what I mean) and even with the gain especially thoroughly, intends individual notes is bluffing ...
In addition, this pedal goes very well with others, I use a compressor to smooth sound and a delay for lead sounds of Pink Floyd, but it works great with overdrive (placed before or after, I personally prefer below) for a more full and rich.
This pedal as I like to say is not for everyone, in his desire to recreate a replica is almost identical to the original DNA Wren Cuff is for lovers and connoisseurs of the Big Muff Ram's Head, or Pink Floyd lovers and Gimour. It is a sacred space on a pedalboard, so you have to know what to expect.
This is a pretty phenomenal job that was conducted in this recreation and I take my hat off to Wren and Cuff which makes Muffs fantastic. You can go dear sir carefree for any Muff her!
