SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

For my part I use an Amd Athlon Xp 2000 1.6 Ghz speed, an Asus motherboard A7N8XE Luxury with 1G of memory 400Mhz, and a maxtor IDE Dique 7200Tmn 120G.Le software stable as older versions and audio I notice that it consumes less CPU than other versions of Sonar. SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

- Sony A295HP / 1GB RAM / HD La Cie D2 FW400 / Echoaudio layla 24 / MOTU MIDI Express
- No complaints about the operation in this configuration, projects very heavy (just like music) projects fataisites (event-multi) everything works perfectly, no need for a pinball untimely crash to 1000 people ...

AMD Athlon 64 3000 + with 2G DDRAM, HDD 80G SATA for the OS Windows XP, and a 160 G SATA hard drive for all that is sound bank, vst and backup. Sound Card EMU 1820.
No compatibility problems at hand since the EMU amme a program specially Sonar.
5 ms latency ASIO (ASIO strongly 2), all recognized VST, groove agent 2, hypersonic XXL, virtual bassist etc ...
Plutt stable with 8 audio tracks with effects + 6 vst instruments and running.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 8 months and it's exploded. In addition to the rverbe contained in this software and the effects that I kept Sonar 4, with which I made my Premire weapons, there really is a fairly complete package.
More stable than Cubase my opinion, it lacks nothing with its VST adapter, which works perfectly.

This version 5 is really cool.

As always against a pti chouille latency sound card. I regret that did not develop as a cakewalk in Ableton, the optimization of latency. (In ableton we can "catch up" its latency ...)

Very easy installation - trouble-free - (Sonar Update 3)
