SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Mac G4 400 MB agp/448 / mbox OS 10.2.8
zero crashes, zero error message except those concerning the use of the CPU for my powermac starts to be old (he'll have to move to the G5).
copy of this software is Mac, and the plug are all recognized, perfect sync between ProTools and Reason 2.5 via ReWire.

OVERALL OPINION

I use ProTool 3 years (Free, 5, 5.2, 6 and 6.2) is the latest version trs resulted in audio and still pitiful in MIDI (it has to prferera Cubase SX or other) .

Problem-free installation

The software works perfectly on this setup. But if I do not close the session before quitting the app, it refuses to restart (crash when loading MIDI lments, while I have no MIDI equipment). Must then tie together the Mac to agree to reopen ..
- Perfs excellent but I only use a few tracks and just a bit of compression. Having said that PT LE Whereas the iBook is for himself and it is not possible to do something else while it bounce (in export AIF) your exact session.

- Before I used Amadeus II (shareware trs well) and Peak to publisher and Audacity for editing. ProTools bury each and includes everything. Amadeus I, however, retained for recording in MP3 (or convert MP3 to AIF) because ProTools LE does not seem to know what format
Report poustouflant quality price (since it is included with the Mbox), use I think is the best argument for the hard Digidesign
I would do this without any hsitation choice, I am impressed with this app trs (for that I use) is both a professional and a soft a soft accessible beginners like me.

Excellent interface, much progress has t effectus it to improve usability and intuitiva. I look forward to UB version for my Mac Book Pro 17 ".

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

The solicitude of the processor for this native app is really excellent. Everything is done to optimize its operation to rguler and refine the signal processing; trs good soft on version 6.9.2. I never had any problem on my old PowerBook G4 867 Mhz, 512 RAM. So I'm waiting to see the UB version to test the performance on my new Mac Book Pro 17 ".

OVERALL OPINION

Trs good software, which remains in the Contents REFERENCE. Too bad the plug-ins are not more free ... (ILock etc.). Especially since the M box is very practical but restrictive trs.
