I bought my POD XT Live two years ago VOX tone wavering between the lab and the là.J 'had read an article in a magazine touting the big sounds of the POD XT Live so I ended up choosing this one.
UTILIZATION
Use side there is nothing to say.
Everything is editable via PC and line6 edit.
User presets can be downloaded on line 6 custom tone.
It can be used as RTAS VSTi plugin with Gear box.
There are small programs like fun riff work that can record riffs on PC, Instant Drummer to play with grooves and there are many downloadable pack add.
It can be used for bass pod if you download the add on.
The updates are regular and the line 6 site pretty much done.
The manual is clear, echo the overall characteristics of all effects and shows photos of original models simulated by the POD.
The ergonomics are well suited to the stage.
I deplore the fact that it still is not "loopable" so that the series ...
SOUND QUALITY
Good fishing is where it just see a lot.
The effects are cool and synthetic and distort the features of the guitar.
I used the POD in the studio using pro tools and live and in both cases I gave up the idea of having a clean and warm even the user presets downloadable Line 6 Edit (and god knows how many j 've tried) I have never satisfaits.Le worse in my opinion and the delays that are very easily customizable.
The setting of the gains is very sharp indeed it is saturated or super skinny and the guitar volume knob has no effect unlike a tube amp the signal is processed in the same way regardless of their level of entry.
I have a Maxon OD 9 at home and the sound is ten miles instead of the simulation of the TS 808
In short I have not like yet I have put good will.
OVERALL OPINION
My opinion is that the guitar to start with a small group and play for friends in a garage and is super.L ergonomics is quite good but I would have preferred a FBV shortboard as the same day his constructeur.Coté 'I was very disappointed but the sounds and colors ...
