« Good stuff but not my thing »
Published on 12/30/11 at 01:06Everybody knows now what amp simulator / multi-purpose. It's digital of course.
UTILIZATION
Level use, the apps provided by Line 6 are used to tweak and damn quickly. In addition there is a sound bank online that allow you to quickly find what the are looking for.
Hacking on the pod-even with the small screen is more of masochism that something else on the other hand ... The manual is well done Line 6 even if the humor is quite confusing ...
SOUND QUALITY
J pod I use this with almost all of my instruments:
- Ibanez Sabre 97
- Gibson Les Paul Studio
- G. Lynch Signature LTD baritone
- F50-E LTD
For guitars, I have been quite satisfied but I have not found No particular nuances.
My preferred use at home and the only one that I regret:
my LP branch above, the POD uses preamp. My friend had hers as well. The two PODs were returning on a power-amp Marshall 8008 stereo cab and a Harley Benton G212V. The c was great. The nature of the power-amp though justice was well transparent to the pod and c was very convenient.
8 So for the home. 4 live. J will return later.
What I hated:
- Too much sound. In the end I lost myself in the settings and I never finding her. But I have no doubt that it is possible.
- Why call this POD LIVE? Because it is formatted pedals? Can not make it sound by repeating. Bury me in my other guitar that he played on his full-lamp Bugera V22.
OVERALL OPINION
I use only a few months. The advantage is that c I have had for next to nothing on ebay and so I have not lost a No resale.
I was looking for a pedal of this style, very convenient to connect the table to mix and repeating with the bare minimum. I came back ...
Finally, YES c is practical and it helps out well for the registration or the headphone lead to s c, but is unusable for the stage, especially if the other guitarist has an amp lampe.Avec hindsight j would prefer to see the traditional format pocket pod. For home use, it takes less space for the same.
Since I am going on a lamp and a 333 BUGERA 18 tubemeister H & K. Suffice to say that I do not regret at all m be separated from my POD ...
