OVERALL OPINION

This is a simulated Marshall JTM 45 pedal format, made by the old shop OUR located rue de Douai to Paris. The pedal has a switch, 3 knobs (volume, Tona, and Drive), 1 In, 1 Out, and an AC outlet for power supply in 9 volts (or 18 volts, it takes very well by the way); paint (red), like all pedal MOJO deteriorates quickly with time, but personally I do not care, as long as it sounds. This is a guitar pedal, but I know some who have already zicos used for bass and it seems that the result is just huge.

This pedal offers a good reserve volume and slightly crunch and beautifully when he is pushed to the bottom. The Tona is very progressive and really from a sharp cut completely, with the only remnant of that good bass growl to a high-pitched sound, nazillard limit. It therefore has great potential in terms of setting tona and we can really help a lot. Personally, I located its action in the 2nd 1/3 of its stroke (between 10h and 14h wholesale). The Drive knob, meanwhile, allows a lot of things. We share something clean but starts cruncher quickly but very gradually to a very frank that exceed a saturation chouilla this AC / DC usually offers us but we will never feel the metal with.
I never had the honor to lay hands on a JTM 45 either vintage or reissue, I have heard the sound through various albums, various videos .... The grain its always attracted me and I found it easily recognizable. And with this little MOJO, I actually had this feeling; was this grainy sound, dry hair, airy, found easily in the / his AC DC. It sounds very Marshall without a shadow of a doubt; and found a I do not know what "big" in sound: a presence in the low end (I have a little trouble finding the words), but it is very defined and it becomes clear that we did not need to knock gain to send "big" sound. This pedal is a perfect illustration of this phenomenon, the sound is now well forward, palms severely send mute, although it does not offer a disproportionate gain growls but it really is rocky at will, as if my Les Paul was mounted P90 .. It does not sound like an anemic Benrod Cream Can I got there a few times and that is light years away from this small JTM; dynamics is huge, it reacts much in the attack on the right hand. So I find myself leave it on permanently with a drive that does not exceed half of the race and I play the volume knob and my right hand to recreate various shades of sound; I get to keep between other sound "almost" clean playing quietly, and it saves me the manipulations of switches on the ground.
Price level, well it is (was) not given I think: € 250-300 new. But we must admit we really step into the pedal upscale boutique. Its only downside (as all pedals MOJO) is its fragile paint (handy for the next vintage with age though) and, from what I've read, its a little cheap outlet although for the moment it has not yet released me. After it is only a beast welding again if necessary, but it is true that for the price, it is reasonable to have something to top all perspective. This is why my rating will not be maximum, although its level, this pedal is a marvel.
I even recently acquired a JTM100 of the same brand so the sound is great (same JTM45 but managed by a mini 3-position switch filter and a second pre-set boost footswitch). Plugged into my little Laney L5T-112L, I conquered.
