    Memphis Electric Guitar

Black strat copy with low cost vintage hardware. I have been play guitar for thirty years...blues, rock, metal jazz and RandB. I have an affinity for strat copies. I have rebuiilt several guitars to 'Fender' standards

A rounf 2003, began having problems with her neck buzzing. Tried adjusting bridge height, refretting higher frets. Decided to rebuilt and founded how poorly constructed it was. Magnets instead of coils in pickups, real cheap tremelo. Body routing looked like a hack job. Stripped the paint and polyeuruthaned and changed to two HH pickguard from GuitatFetish...built up neck slot to stop buzz and slapped on a rosewood tele neck. Action was so high playing it could only be used for slide. Had to salvage neck, loaded pick gard and hardware for new body and the Memphis body was added to the woodpile.

It was for a while a great guitar. I called er my 'Blackie' and it sound great with my setup of Fuzzface, wah and echo, and Marshall 100w Full stack and dual Fender Reverb Twin set up. Actually gigged several shows with her and got compliments for her looks and sound.

Poorly routed body and cheap hardware. The body was actually nice piece of ash...who ever routed her did a crappy job. And pieces of magnets around the polepieces in the pickups...it was amazing. This guitar had the strat look and I was hoping to keep it as is but it was not to be.

Great fake job. It was definitely 'strat look...strat sound...strat feel' with penny pinching construction. OEM black finish looked great and 70s style 'CBS-big' peg head was the cincher for me. However being constructed cheaply was in the end it's downfall.

My Memphis strat copy was made before Fender started to sue companies who made their 'copies' to closely resemble 'Strats' and 'Teles' at half the cost.(i.e. Tokai, Fernandes. But as I have learned from owning original 'Fenders' and refurbished 'strat copies' that the real mccoy is a whole lot better.

    Arbor Electric Guitar

I decided I wanted to play guitar, so I saved up my allowance and mowing money to buy one. I purchased it at Twin Rivers Music in Columbus (This place adjusts each guitar that comes in and make sure there are no problems with it) for $200.

I like the transparent red finish. The coil/coil/humbucker set up is nice, and the 5-way switching. It sounds pretty great, too.

The only thing that i don't like about this guitar would be that it kind of goes out of tune pretty often.

The quality of this guitar is great. So far, it has stayed together and I haven't had any problems

If you are looking into playing guitar, you should consider this one.

I got my guitar from Wal-Mart. I bought it because it was cheap and I dont have a lot of money.

It is good for practice and beginers. It was cheap.

The fender chips easy.every thing breaks easy on it.things come lose on it.

Very poor. Every thing breaks easy on it.Things come lose to.

I know i am not good in Grammer, but i tried. the reson it was not long is because i broke my arm in football practice and i can't type very well.

I bought this guitar at a pawn shop.
It is a good looking guitar, & has a good sound.
    I paid $99.00 for it.

    The sound,the size.

since I am not a professional I can only say I think it's good.
It has 21 frets, 3 pickups, 2 tone control.
4 way switch, 3 humbuckers. Looks like it has at one time had a quiverler. It has the hole just below the 6th string.

I would like to know who manufactured this guitar, & if anyone has anything like this I would like to know.

at First i payed $100 for it at the pawn shop. that guitar has so many stories to tell,(if it could, lol). the body is black with a white pick guard. on the pick guard is a vinyl sticker of an 8-ball on fire that distinctly does not cover the pickups. each tone is way totally different. even though those are still the original pickups. overall I GIVE IT A 10+

    bad ass!! especially with digitech

I was looking for a guitar for cheap when I first started playing, so I went to every site and store. I didn't find anything so i started asking family members, and not one of them had anything except one of my mother's old friends. He didn't ask any money for it, just that I play it and treat it with respect and I fell in love with it the minute i saw it. I will always remember this man for his generosity and giving me what i believe to be the perfect guitar for me.

Well i want to say everything, but I guess I should be more specific. The sound from the guitar is amazing even after all these years it is in amzing condition. The sound i think is so different from most guitars that i have pla…

I will always remember this man for his generosity and giving me what i believe to be the perfect guitar for me.

Well i want to say everything, but I guess I should be more specific. The sound from the guitar is amazing even after all these years it is in amzing condition. The sound i think is so different from most guitars that i have played i think because it is a semi-hollow body but has no f-holes. It has a Les Paul body and the looks of a Gibson. I think my favorite part though would have to be the dual closed humbucker pickups. They deliver a crisp, clean, and plain out astounding tone. I am not sure on the type of wood used for the body, but the fret board i am sure is ebony with white marble inlays on every other fret, making for it easy for navigation across the fret board and for a nice look.

The only thing i found that i didn't like is how the unit is not labeled well. I can't find a model number or name on it anywhere. I have looked inside and out and not found a thing on its name, date of manufacture, or a model number.

As I said before it is a semi-hollow bodied guitar but does not have any f-holes. I am not sure of the wood used for the body but the fret board is ebony with white marble inlays on every other fret, making for it easy for navigation across the fret board and for a nice look. The guitar has a dark tobacco sunburst finish and dual closed humbucker pickups. The sound is amazing and better than any other guitar i have played. It stays in tune well and delivers a crisp sound through any amp.

From what I know it is from the late 1970's and the company is no longer manufacturing guitars or any type of merchandise and I would also like to find out more about the company and anything concerning it.If you have any information on it, please post.

The morning surf is better and you avoid the masses. The guitar looks great. Black and White. The sound is unusual. What I like about this guitar is that it has personality. The Yamaha and the Squire have a 'mass produced' feel. The Vintage sounded good but cost more.

Not much. At the moment, but I have just bought it. However, I will make sure that Macari's gives me a good warranty. I mean, I trust Trev but...

According to the blurb, it's constructed with a resin called 'Vibracell'. I don't mind this. Experts say it increases resonance. It's kind of a new sound. Construction fells good.

Personality. Designed by a guy who put his name on it. If he gets it wrong his name is shit. Shareholders at Fender or Yamaha are faceless. Have you ever met one?

The one thing I don't like about this guitar is the quality of the pick-ups, of course there not going to be that good, you seem to get a lot of feed back, but thats all.

It's great, has lots of fatures, looks great! and also quite light, which is great if your doing live gigs, and you want to jump around and stuff..

Thres not much I dont like about, except probably that it gets un-tuned quickly, compared to Fenders etc.. But the sound is great!

Quality is great! I accidently dropped it off a 2 metre stage, nothign happen, didnt even scratch.. This is what I like! GREAT SOUND STILL, and NO DENTS!

I recommend this guitar, for the price, sound and the quality!

First off is the actual sound of the instrument...it's non-existant. The strings buzz horribly. The screws to lower the strings are stuck so I can't change their height above the fretboard. It's nearly impossible to tune this guitar because of the weak sound. The pickups are horrid.

The body seems durable enough. However as far as quality, that's as far as it goes. The volume knob broke about a week after getting the guitar...and the amp that came with it broke another week later.

The quality of this guitar is shoddy to say the least...but I guess that's what you get for paying some seventy-five dollars. I honestly wouldn't recommend this guitar for even a beginner...go with a Fender starter set or something along those lines.

    EBAY! for around 137 bucks.

This guitar plays very well for something under 150. I like the whole vintage look, and the unique aluminum pickguards. The tone is awesome! The bridge humbucker sounds great when you hook it up to some overdrive pedal. The neck pickup is the cleanest I've ever heard! It sounds better than the ones on a gibson!

I get feedback due to the fretboard mixed with pickups. The interior electrics seem to cut off at times. I will get it looked at. The switch that changes from bridge to neck pickups is somewhat loose and tends to switch around while playing.

I love the whole look of the guitar. It's a nice natural sunburst/tobacco color, and the humbuckers look great. Everything on the guitar is vintage, and looks very different. The whole thing is built sturdily, and it's always tuned correctly, no matter how many times you hit the headstock against something.

    Good for intermediates. Emo rocks!

    Harmony Electric Guitar

The Harmony guitar is a nice begginer guitar. I got it from a guitar magazine that isnt to widely used or read. I got this guitar for 200.00 because I always wanted a guitar and it looks just like a Fender.

I really like The whole guitar. The one thing i like most aout it is that the strings are very easy to tune and they hardly need it. The volume setting is very easy 2 set precisley on the exact volume you want. This is a great guitar for a beginner but can be used by anyone.

There really isn't much I dont like about this guitar. One thing however is that the tremolo(wammy) bar knocks it out of tune sometimes. Also the cord jack sometimes may come loose if you twist the wire, while unpl…

The construction of this guitar is very strong. It has a pearl white pickguard, and a rosewood neck. It also as some chrome like on the intonation settings, the frets are chrome, and the wammy bar is chrome. The quality of the unit is actually really good. The neck is tight on it, the frets are tight, some screws come loose occasionally.

This product is a great product for begginer guitarists. It may not be a popular brad, however it looks just like a Fender, has a great sound, and stays in tune most of the time. There are very few problems weith this guitar. Hey if this isnt eoug for you it comes with a small practice amp. Remember the name Harmony for almost the best harmony in a guitar.

I'm from Indonesia and bought that guitar about 3 months ago with Rp.1.100.000,00 ( app.US$ 92.00.

I bought a samick electric guitar. This guitar have a small guitar neck, so I can experience my favourite song very easy.

Sometimes this guitar have a noise sound (I think it's from a tone control).

for a beginner and medium guitar player, I think it's good unit.

    1. Samick Guitar is chiep unit.
    2. Although have a little noise sound, for me It's good unit.
