After this year's NAMM convention, the Aphex newly-redesigned effects pedals receiving Premier Guitar Magazine's Editors' Choice Award.
The Xciter was designed to integrate Aphex’s Aural Exciter and Optical Big Bottom technologies into a “compact” design. According to the company, it “adds life and presence to any instrument by enhancing musical harmonics, spaciousness, depth and detail.”
On the other hand, the Punch Factory is designed to deliver optical compression.
