«  + classic fuzz distortion in one box! »

Published on 05/27/14 at 13:20
I just tried in a relatively short period of time but I think I've seen its features

I do not know why Jacques dons his buttons name that does not mean anything, and especially not mean anything!

Hate is in the blood low in the mid love in acute
These tones are quite marked, can be kind of semi parametric equalization

level is the level of distortion and fuzz knob (I have not tried since being focused on distortion)

I do not know if it is analog, I think ....

it's all out in

UTILIZATION

yes and no, it is true that the settings used to have quite varied tones, even if the grain does not change fundamentally.

no manual therefore no need to have it rotates it acts, though there may be interaction between the knobs 5

SOUND QUALITY

The grain is quite biting and quite attractive on a laney Lionhart 5w and a Fender bronco mono mic Di Marzio sending!

Guitar only

THERE has variations of settings, and you can get a full sound, finally dug a whole range of possibilities in terms of tone.

Where I was disappointed it was on criteria integrations, I was expecting something other than just a range of tones despite the fuzz, and m "rightly expect greater extremes in terms of versatility.

Anyway all positions are usable, but attention to breath and sensitive enough présznt when the level rises to more than median position

I have not tried the fuzz, with the Apocalypse of death by audio fuzz with these 5 that has a special charm, and this box can compete Question grain and possibilities with it!

OVERALL OPINION

I just tried, I wished to acquire "used 80th so reasonably priced, but the field is too limited application has deterred me to take it, even if it remains a classic model recommended BUT am in total disagreement ds this forum who credits a versatile usage question, I will classify the distortion on a classic fuzz + therefore above in terms of effectiveness and efficiency of overdrive, though a bit bright but not on the heavy distortion either!

It is true that I want in absolute gain pedal 2 channels that can move the thrust overdrive distortion (such as the effect Piod brand with the model what you want 2 made in Urkraine or Tritonlab brand with CARAVAN the model with a budget just over cad 200th (and 139 € for the new mercer box!) is a gap but a substantial price gap qualitative and bcp in terms of versatility

The R / P / Q is very good for an argus price, good enough because it was nine in the same pedal distortion and fuzz.

Label Steve Morse, is a purely commercial argument, and one that holds the site, has a priori nothing to do with that sold 4 knobs instead of 5 (the consumer version with better, weird!) and probably calibrated and adjusted to the desire of the master, but not in connection with this modest ... model series!
