UTILIZATION

Very simple, no complaints.

Note, I had a small problem with the power supply, there was a loose connection. The length is perhaps not quite standard, I do not know. Anyway, the store I exchanged my model and everything works fine on that. (If not, a little aluminum foil is the case a priori - trick given by the seller of the store)

SOUND QUALITY

A good flanger, well marked. Depending on the settings you can achieve very different effects, ranging from quiet large chorus flanger.
There is a slight volume boost when the locks, but it is very convenient in the end, it can not disappear from the mix!

I tried some flanger, and then it sounds great, does the job it is asked ... In short, a good effect!

Ultra compact, good size pots are ideal for settings in "live". The pedal has a true bypass. Making power is on the side, which is just broken-up but otherwise is very good.

There still difficult to get any easier. Some would say too simple for a fact that has multiple knobs settings on other models. We know what to expect which is not made for tweakers and other geek pedals.

SOUND QUALITY

The effects are they effective, responsive and realistic enough?
Yes. We obtain the grain "MXR" that flatters the ear as well known.
Difficult to obtain chorus or flanger swirling tunnels but the settings are quite thin, the flanger is pretty versatile.
For cons, the lack of "fishing" as one can have with models like the BF-3 or DOD FX747. It's true that a real speed control but lacks a little playing with the spleen, it's OK.

LTD MH400 increase in EMG 80/85.

Which ones you prefer, you hate?
As I am in the flanger rhythm, I tend to get the regen to 1. As for the spleen, I adapted to the tempo of what I play.

A flanger more suitable for coloring to establish a solo rhythm. It's good without being exceptional.

Not bad. Boss BF3 Flanger Digitech Stereo, FX75C Dod, Dod FX747, Boss BF2, BF2 MIJ, Boss BF1, Psychoflanger Danelectro, Danelectro hashbrowns ...

How would you rate the quality / price?
Honest ... Just for € 110 limit because it was really low settings. Especially since the MXR does not spend 10 years designing this pedal. After the build quality is at the appointment.

With experience, you do again this choice? ...
No, in fact I sold it but it's still a foot right for those who want a simple flanger for his colorful sound. In addition, it is very good on a solo but less interesting (obvious?) In rhythm, I use mainly. I am also a manufacturer with such a tempo flanger built (other than the BF3).
Finally, the fact that I use with active pickups can be changed quite a difference.
