This is a game changer for tone. I used to struggle to get the right tone with the right volume with my tube amp 6v6 1970 silverface bassman 50. Now I have sold my multieffect pedal and this is all I use guitar and bass and it is heaven.

People that say the attenuator doesnt make it crunch enough dont understand the purpose of the attenuator. It is not meant to be an overdrive pedal. It is meant to allow you to turn up your volume to the ideal setting and control how loud the audience heads the music without make the sound too loud.

If you simply want a dirty channel, use an amp with a dirty channel and add the attenuator so you make sure that when you use your overdrive that you dont need to have separate pedal to boost the sound. The attenuator controls the volume and allows you to bring up your tone to match any room.
