«  I love it. »

Already the owner of a C12Q the price / quality ratio just incredible, I took advantage of a good opportunity to acquire a big brother named C12K Ceramic Vintage.
Superior performance (99.1 against 93.9 dB) and power handling of 100W (35W for C12Q) for the technical side and the superlative quality C12Q led me to acquire this "doped" model.
I mounted it in a HP Palmer cab I never say how much he excels. Its generous size and strength allow HP mounted to express themselves better.
The baffle serves me with a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe combo and heads GVT15H Ampeg and Marshall Class5.

Compared to C12Q the C12K brings more body, mediums a warm coat (probably a result of it the name "Vintage"), significantly deeper bass and loses some of the analytical restitution of "little brother" .
But the clean sounds are great precision and definition across the spectrum. Again the marriage with the head Ampeg-a wonder to a paltry price-to perfection.
With OD pedals or Disto, and LP, I get exactly the sound that I like: sustain huge, perfect control of low frequencies, rich, warm mids and harmonics out all alone. The grain is always superb, without roughness.
The bridge pickup sounds like my LP'57 never devoid of any aggression.
The dynamic is not left and right hand set allows a multitude of shades.

I have a lot of HP's Eminence Governor, Eminence Man O War, Celestion V30, Jensen C12Q and therefore this C12K.
The Jensen becoming my favorite, followed close by the Governor.
I absolutely love everything in this HP which suffers no weakness. Balance seduced from the first notes played and the richness of its stamps is another of its strengths.
A 97 € in nine, the price / quality ratio seems perfect to me. And no doubt I'll buy it immediately if it became necessary.
Note that the Hot Rod Deluxe particularly appreciate, in addition to the original Eminence for the respective performance of the two speakers is very close, which is not the case with C12Q.
I love it!
