I tried the TU-2 Boss from home. The display is less sharp / clear, because LEDs used his larger and have a space. I have also found less reactive.
I have not tried the TU-3.

I just got it.
After much waiting in dv247, and "finally we have more in stock" I bought it at Rock Palace. What to say. A tool gadget? Bah not that much ... Ultra reagent relative to a TU-2 (I still have on hand for this first test) Accurate, even in poly mode. And what about this mode poly ... Certainly, we can not grant a string at a time, but between the time or the tuner recognizes the string height analysis (for each note) on the 6 PolyTune shows you the first arpeggio ... Short tuning time divided by 10 for me (well I exaggerate a bit).
Me do it again if I would do it 10 times and without regret ...

Bah I'm actually mixed.
Either it's great as a system, it makes a lot of time (between 2 kind song on stage for a check). It is super responsive (especially compared with my old Korg who was 18).
However ... bah how poly is false ... then it may be a poor calibration of mine. But I attach rope rope is just super. I play the 6 string, I systematically the low E which is denoted as too low, and other strings which have first a little red spot on.
If I give poly mode only, that everything is green, if I check bah mode string by string, is there any more, and this time, the guitar is wrong.

The Polytune is a stomp box size tuner that lets you tune your guitar or bass either in the conventional way. Where you can select the display to function like a strobe or needle chromatic tuner. This replaced my Peterson Stobostomp on my board, which replaced my Korg tuner I used before that which had Buzz Feiten offsets programmed into it.

In addition to the regular in/out 1/4 inch jacks, on/off switch, and 9 volt power supply jack you'll also find a DC power out jack to daisy chain power into the next pedal when you use an external power supply, plus the 2 soft buttons. One is to switch between needle and stream/strobo mode, the other to drop the tuning up to five semi tones. Comes in handy to use the polyphonic tuning function if you tune to Eb or D instead of the regular E tuning. To calibrate the tuner you push both soft switches and then can calibrate from 435 Hz up to 445 Hz.

The display brightness auto adjusts depending on how light or dark the stage is. The one down side is that the polymode only works with standard guitar tuning, so open G, DADGAD, Open E type tunings you have to check in chromatic tuner mode.
I'm running the tuner on the tuner out of my Ernie Ball volume pedal and leave it turned on. When I rock the pedal back my volume is muted but I still have signal going to the tuner. Checking and fixing your tuning between songs this way takes a fraction of the time it took with conventional tuners.

Battery compartment is accessed via the thumb screw on the bottom.

Yes, without hesitation. It is true that the function PolyTune is not absolutely accurate and tends, with my guitar, to underestimate somewhat the notes. But in summary audit, to be sure that no rope is completely off, it works very well. The tuning-note is responsive and precise.

What I like: true bypass so no food no sound at all, silent tuning, highly legible screen (automatically adjusts the light intensity) despite a smaller footprint, precision made either in mono or poly-compatible with all the guitars / bass, nice look. But especially how poly super convenient, it is a breakthrough innovation in the small world of tuning. I would do this choice because you can not ask more of a tuning pedal, it gives accurate, is readable, easy and true bypass, solid box and drop tuning, chaining Food ... It offers everything you need ... for a cheap anyway, but it was a good gift! It's a pedal that keeps a life anyway. Look no there's no better!

What thing do you like most/least about it?

Good tuner, fast and bright. Regarding the accuracy it works fine in normal mode, ie single string (the former). Mode is rather polyponique bof, I would say the low E string is not just his opinion. It is called (after TC) because I slam my strings too hard ..... Other than that it works very well and fast in normal mode and it is quite enough!
Ah yes this is not bad is the double jack for connecting power supply to power other pedals!
