Im looking for a solution that wont completely bankrupt me but that also can handle adat 8channel to put into my soundcard.

Is the way to go about this with a normal mixer + a converter to adat form the dirrect outs or something,

or just get an adat capable mixer?

the latter is fairly expensive, I gather...

any alternative thinkin out there. Maybe ADAT isnt the thing for me, but again, delta 44 and 66 only take 4analog io's and thats not really enough... 6 or 8 would do, don't need 16.

any idea on this is greatly appreciated,
