PreSonus Firestudio - Not getting any sound - Help!

I just hooked up my Firestudio to my pc (I just have a firewire cable connected to pc), but I can't hear any sound. When I open fruity loops I can see the audio moving on the master levels but can't hear it. I have no on board sound, just the firestudio. Also I am using a different pc to write this message as my music pc has no internet. Please help I need to get this going asap.

It could be your sound card. I have read that Presonus only recommends using a Texas Instruments chipset. Something to look into maybe?
