UTILIZATION

Simple and customizable configuration
Manuel almost non-existent but hey, is not 50 buttons ...

SOUNDS

Then there are key to happiness!
The clean channel is set, the crunch is slamming and crystalline.
The overdrive is excelllent, thank you lamps. No need for a multi effect with this amp.
This gives her a jazzy, rock n roll, punk, metal for the greasy bottom everything lol
To play in preventing or neighbors ca depot serious!
For the scene is also ca, attention the baby is quite heavy.

I used pdt 2 years, I have to separate the m because lack of space ("/>
Really a great amp that symbolizes the reputation of its Marshall, also of it is almost impossible to find a second hand .... says it all

I used the one with Alessi Quadraverb QII insert it into giant, the effects loop yet to master but with a little experience the sound is fabulous
multiple pedals are connected directly volume, wah wah, q tron, compressor, stereo chorus + chorus on the amp bi ... jy then added a Boss SE70 all connected to a preamp to connect 4 on the amp and guitar to finish a transmitter shure ...
It's been almost 10 years and I repeat runs with this configuration, the amp is super robust and supports all the connectors.

UTILIZATION

Regular use for about 10 years, bought new amp, a few problems with potentiometers that require very frequent cleaning (noise chrachements)

SOUNDS

Super sound, very versatile, both in rock that in jazz, super good quality / price ratio
the stereo is great and j is even considering to add two additional speakers.
the amplifier has a very complete connectivity that is not always found on new models apparently (p can be) more efficient.

Amps really go anywhere ..... the clean, to crunch, od1tupe jcm 800, OD2 shreed hyper Compression metal .... hard not to find something .....

What kind of sound you get and with what settings ("crystalline", "bold ",....)?

The sound is very particular: it is no longer a transistor amp, and not quite a tube amp (all lamps) is not .... at the crossroads of two worlds: be very interesting indeed! ! the sound is truly unique ... it Valvestate! we like it or not .....

For me it was almost méllieurs of these two worlds in the same amp!!


OVERALL OPINION

How long have you use it?

I used it right out (there are now over 15 years .....), I then played six years before selling it reluctantly to pay me a head Marshall JCM 800 lead series ... . and then the time spent, and I owned the jcm 800 and jcm 900, Soldano, mesa, fender, orange, etc. ..... and then, two months ago .... I had the OPPORTUNITY to find a used one in good condition and not too expensive: and? and? well I bought without any hesitation!

Why? and good stereo sound first !!!!! and then for its great value / bargain price right now ...... Regular price change lamps / robustness when we lug around together by repeating, from right to left without stopping ....
amp is anything but a headlock! except for a reservation on the possible change of 1 or 2 pots (disease marshall all, even the most expensive amps unfortunately ...), it is a reliable and strong!
With experience, and after 25 years of amps of all kinds, lamp or transistor, of any prize, any weight, any brand, ...... and with my current level of play guitar ..... a little patience to choose my settings: This amp covers just prét 99.9% of my needs ....
 
Try this on your own amp, if you get a chance, make your own opinion with your ears and not with what everyone says ..... (Like if it's not all it's less lights = good!)

So if you cross an electronics pro seriously just ask him the following question:

'Between an all-tube amps and amp mosfet / lamp, which one is the most efficient and reliable ???".

I think you'll be probably surprised by his answer .....

UTILIZATION

The config is pretty simple, the manual summary besides, I've never consulted.

The rglages are fairly intuitive.

The cable from the pedal switch and dnud ct pedal, not very sturdy even if the case is robust.

It is a very heavy amp, I've never used live but forget jalopy a row (usually I play on stage with an acoustic style Roland AC60 also too lours for carry foot deep AER Compact 60!)

I bought this amp to the Trash and I do not have the t!

I played a BC Rich NJ series (2 singles + double splittable, all possible combinations).
Rcemment with LTD Kirk Hammett EMG (its zero interest but clear distortion is FATAL!)

The clean sound is pretty cool (Marshall), but by pushing the volume clear background with a master down we can have good crunch sounds typs lamps.
Otherwise it's clean for surfing but it's not his fender lamps, while dpend of what one seeks.

If using light crunch of the channel or an overdrive sound is quite poor and not very intressant in my case.

Overdrive 2 ... the we can talk. How to say, sends heavy, very heavy and with a humbucker was the big distortion Marshall, not to make friends what! .. ranges from AC / DC, Slash, Metallica's other NONMETALS, button outline as quite effective.
Ms a crappy guitar (Aria pro2 especially beginners) sounds good in distortion.

The amp sounds very hard but pushing too much the quality of the distortion down a bit I think, say that returns to the medium.

The rverbe is nice.

Chorus is really very good, with both HP has an excellent spatial. Better than my pedal Boss CE-3 Chorus and more "space" on a Roland AC60. By fiddling you can make a Lger flanger or tremolo type sound.
Ct little fun, snapping the chorus with at least one chorus rglages alger boost in volume that may be useful for a solo, the chorus does not dnaturant disto.

OVERALL OPINION

I use the basement when I'm visiting my parents for the holidays and I have time (10/15 days per year)

It's not a cheap amp, sounds great for rock spot with distos acres or fat. kif.

I put 8 but if there was a clear the fender I put more than 9. Marshall
