Samson Introduces update to their Portable PA systems with the new Expedition XPL Series
The Expedition enclosures feature an improved, custom 12” low frequency and a 1” titanium compression driver with an elliptical wave guide horn. The enclosures also boasts Speakon™ connectors, fly-points, steel grill and a scuff-resistant textured finish.
The XPL300, is a powered loudspeaker with a built-in 4-channel stereo mixer and 24-bit digital effects processing. An iPod Dock is also inculded for audio playback.
The new EXL250 Expedition Express is a pair of two-way loudspeakers that come equipped with a 4-channel mixer with 24-bit DSP, an iPod dock, and a 250 Watt amplifier. The EXL250 also includes a dynamic microphone, mic clip, mic cable and extension speaker cable and packs into a single rolling unit for transport convenience.
Weighing in at 32.5 pounds, the XPL200 active enclosure incorporates a bi-amped Class D amplifier rated at 200 Watts RMS. The XPL200 is effective as a powered monitor or in combination with an XPL300, as a stereo 400 Watt system.
Finally, the XPL100 is a passive speaker for public address, music playback or floor monitoring that will handle up to 400 Watts peak.
