My first impressions:
Strengths:
the manual is in French (not on the Equinox) very detailed.
touching is good, but not type synth too light either, aftertouch is well done the keyboard is pretty quiet.
sounds are rich and although dated are quite natural for acoustic, there are more than the Equinox, I hesitated a lot between the two ...
The screen is very readable, there are plenty of sliders and buttons, ergonomics seems very correct, the connection is complete (4 out, 2x3 noon, with 2 in earnings, four assignable pedals ...), scsi Optional audio / video processor as an option.
The synthesis part is really impressive, the sequencer is super far.
There is plenty of style and for all GEM keyboards you can use the site-club.comm gem to get the latest OS, manuals, tips, styles ...
For those who love, there is the possibility of working with Eastern sounds, many sites in the style of dealing with these synths. For my part, I have the European version.
Finally, I find particularly good piano and double headphone jack is handy for my son who is taking over.

The low point linkage:
the beast is heavy, you can not find the parts, especially do not add any RAM, you burn out the motherboard (info Technical Service GEM Lyon, Oxygen), the internal battery is soldered onto the board (40 € if intervention in a pro) it must be changed every 5 years (as on most keyboards GEM).

I just have it, I come to you when I have done the trick, expect several months ...
between synthesis, sequencer, styles (editable), importing sounds, mixer, arranger ... I have a job!

to 300 €, with the possibility of adding an HD, I think it's a good plan, I compared with what I found in nine at the same price, nothing to see, nor sound, nor the spec ... when on occasion, I preferred to WK6 Gem Roland and Yamaha I've tried in the same price and even more expensive, sounds no better or worse, and there was still stuff in the spec, import sounds, performance sequencer editing styles ...
