The Moog Lap Steel
The Moog Lap Steel guitar is now available from the manufacturer's website.
The Moog Lap Steel is designed to "combine Moog Guitar technology with the expressive capabilities of the Lap Steel guitar," according to the company. Announced innovations include Full Sustain, Controlled Sustain and Mute modes, Harmonic Blends and the onboard Moog Ladder Filter are integrated to enhance new and traditional playing techniques, Moog says.

Customized: Maple top / Mahogany bottom

2 custom-designed Moog pickups. Piezo saddles in bridge.
The piezo is blended in with the normal output of the Moog Guitar and it can be output separately thru the quarter inch jack. The piezo does not require external power; it receives auxiliary power from an onboard 9V battery.

- Moog Foot Pedal Controller
Controls Harmonic Blend, Vo Amount or the frequency response of the Moog Ladder Filter. Powers the Moog Electronics (mode is selected by switches on the instrument).
Includes external Control Voltage Input (0 to 5VDC) for use with optional Moog instruments and accessories.
