What kind of microphone? (Song, sound, mixed ..)
It is a vocal microphone. However, I also used it to record folk guitar: no problem on this side! The sound is precise, but lacks a little bass. Personally, I find it a little too "flat", but in this price range, this is the most successful product I could find.

I use it for a little over a year, and I preamplified by an En-Voice MKII MindPrint to add a little a little heat to the microphone, and also for the coloring.

What technology? (Electret capacitor ...)

This is an electrostatic microphone condenser, large diaphragm.

I put 9 / 10 for the undeniable quality in this price range. It is solid, we want more!

OVERALL OPINION

For how long have you been using it?

I use it for over a year.

Did you try many other models before getting this one?

No, this is my first wide-static membrane. However, I have already tried Oktava MK-319. For quick comparison: the Oktava is made for male vocals and the warmth in the bass, but will never match as well the Apex 435 for a female voice. In addition, the Apex is used for taking instruments, while the Oktava, much less ...

So everything depends on our price range and what you use it for. For the person on a budget who wants to save his voice more than adequate, it's perfect!
But it will not replace a Neumann, for sure.

What thing do you like most/least about it?

The feature I like most is its precision, clarity and a mini-price. If it is coupled with a good preamp, you can be taken to Wonderland!
The feature I like least is its "brightness" in the high frequencies and its lack of bass. Many wheezing, not enough heat or color.

What is your opinion about the value for the price?
The price / quality ratio is unbeatable.

Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? ...

In the same budget requirements / hardware, yes, I would do this choice, certainly.
I recommend this microphone for all types of vocals, but mainly for women's voices. I've been recording with a singer, and the result is simply excellent.

9 / 10.
