I use the Apex 435 for decision-song, mostly, but I recorded with an upright piano, and placed before the amp, the guitar sat taken.
It is a micro-type large-diaphragm condenser, cardioid that is to say that it sounds tankard before him in an area that draws a heart (hence the name cardio).
The microphone comes with his little jock, set after a mic stand: this support being given by élastocs, it cancels all interference with the vibrations of the microphone stand and therefore, it eliminates all the noise, cable rubs, foot taps the floor ...
Be careful, this microphone is static, so it must be a 48V power supply: if you plug it directly into the soundcard of your computer, it will not work! must then either pass through a mixing desk, or a preamp or buy a phantom power.
10 A well deserved for the quality of manufacturing, cum fun (yeah, it flows into the stud, this microphone with his jock), the audio quality, all in relation to a price riquiqui.

I am in heaven!
I liked the jock comes with. I see absolutely no fault to the microphone, given the price, it is excellent and has made a great recording voice.
I will repeat that choice, in order to have a second to catch stereo piano. I do not even ask the question to try another model, whatever it is. The Apex is perfect in all situations.
