OVERALL OPINION

I bought one last night Brauner Phantom Anniversary Edition to 1000 euros in funky junk. I added him behind a Universal Audio 6176. Well, the microphone is excellent. I tested an AKG C414 B XL II, a Neumann U87 AI and I fell in love with the Braun that I find very transparent. The bottom is very beautiful and acute aériens.Les mediums are of the same pedigree. The AU 6176 gives a heat while keeping the clarity. To have tested the two microphones, I can say for now that the Brauner is my favorite because it bears a resemblance to a U87 (old generation). In fact, I think the U87 AI does not have this flexibility and clarity, and will not suit all voices.
All I can say is that 6176 + AU Brauner Phantom is a beautiful combination for those seeking truly professional equipment. The mix will seem obvious after.

Brauner Phantom C microphone, Neumann U 87, and others are all good microphones trs.

I use it for 9 mois.J I tried several mics to buy it, AKG C414 XLS, Neumann U87, Neumann TLM 103, ...
I DCID brauner for lack of means for the U87.
So this is where the hurt.
The Braun has a very nice color and a nice dynamic range but .... BUT ....
But my god it's true Camelotti.
