Eagletone CM40

The CM40 is a Condenser Mic that is made by a company called Eagletone, I have seen very few mics made by them and have only had the chance to use a few of them. But this (CM40) was very good for the time that I was using it, it looked very similar to one of my AKG mics and was cheaper and some of the specs where the same so that was the reason why I purchased it a while back.


OVERALL OPINION

The CM40 is a wide diaphram mic with a low frequency roll off switch that comes in handy. Keep in mind that it does require phantom power through your audio interface and the connection is 3 pin. When you order the mic it does come with a shock mount unless you buy it without one which tends to happen sometimes when you purchased used gear online. This mic is now only around 50 bucks used which is a steal. If you have a treated room, the mic will sound like a 500 - 600 dollar range mic easily. The Eagletone CM40 has provided me with clean crisp vocals for over a year. I purchased it brand new and it was only around 130 bucks or so and now they are very cheap and worth the buy.

You can use the CM40 for recording vocals, I wouldn’t suggest recording someone who has a very low pitch to their voice or low tone just because it wont sound great with the roll off. But an even better use for the mic is if you run a radio station at home or some sort of a pod cast. I think its perfect for that and the vocal quality is excellent. Purchase this mic and look into a good mic stand to go with it, or even a desktop mic stand if you are going to do some pod casting or at home radio show. You will be very surprised on how good it is for 50 bucks.

OVERALL OPINION

I use the microwave for 1 month. In fact I bought a pair (Stereo) torque recorder numrique Zoom H4n pramplis which are fabulous <img class="smiley" src="/images/audiofanzine/interface/smileys/icon_lol.gif" alt="" />

We use it to record our sessions and in our local rptitions soundproofed Lyon. We make live recordings via the type Zoom H4n.
These microphones are simply sublime and strong, see comments APEX 435> They offer the same quality Woodbrass Testet them they are comparable with a FET pre amp as a gift <img class="smiley" src="/images/audiofanzine/interface/smileys/icon_lol.gif" alt="" />

They agree trs well for voice, scrapes, rope, percuset same record group (in my case Pop Folk Rock). Our DMOS are ongoing, I will post mock-ups in a short time. Note that they are so sensitive privillgier in the studio or in a well insulated.

The report quality price> my opinion unbeatable! 45 the unit is cheaper than a 435 and APEX a bit better technically.

For the choice ... well for 45 ohhhhh yes! <img class="smiley" src="/images/audiofanzine/interface/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt="" />

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it to compare it to T Bone SC400 which is a very good microphone too for the price. to be honest, I think those are exactly the same except the color changes. for the price to make it excellent.difficile mieux.il woodbrass costing 59 euros at the moment with the cable, the mic (super) and pop ups. I bought from thomann t bone and I wanted to make his différence.le is really similar and I just take them apart. plates carrying the components have the same except for some components are no different. . May be the sound of the Eagleton is a little clearer but not much.
I return it. I am always happy and I Profitt to tell you that I saw in wood ..... roros to 38 with your foot, anti popup and XLR cable.
I find it hard to believe so if you need a pretty good mic at this price go for it.
