Large diaphragm condenser microphone enjoying two directional: cardioid and omni. -10db pad to cut down and a complete table. That's enough for normal use. Workmanship. Supplied without suspension and a simple cover: it's a bit light for protection.
OVERALL OPINION
If the microphone is no longer manufactured and was advantageously replaced by the NT2A, one can find second-hand and then it can be a good deal and make a lot of services.
The position of cardio so I do not like except for instruments in the harp as his lens.
Omni position seems to me, it much more natural and can be used with happiness on wind instruments (wood) or on pianos.
The sound is warm enough but lacks a bit of personality.
In conclusion, this is a very good microphone, to give the best of himself to be associated with a pre amp worthy of the name.
