Condenser mic.
I use it for all kinds of acoustic miking. Mainly singing, but also folk guitar, percussion too powerful (shaker, claves ...).
I also have a B2pro similar but slightly worse. So, I use both to decision-acoustics.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for a little over a year. Compared to B2, the sound is better but the advantage of B2 is changeable directivity and low-cut filter integrated, which can be useful eventually.
Least, this is the method of fixing is not always practical. But we made it!
I had occas by a friend, so he sold it to me almost new and not very expensive. So the price / quality ratio is excellent. But even new, I would recommend to use home studio.
For illustration, children listen to the album I recorded recently (The Dragon of Krakow) on eric-b.musicblog.fr. All the voices were done with this microphone.
