« Epiphone Les Paul Standard »
Published on 07/08/01 at 15:00I bought this guitar at peeler music in toledo, ohio for $525. I decided to get an Epiphone after playing both gibsons and Epiphones and discovering that the Epiphones are almost as good or in some cases better than many Gibsons and are a fraction of the price.
I like the color of my new les paul. It is an Ebony. You can also get it in sunburst, but I prefer black. I love it's sound and how it feels. The neck is not to thick like some of the other les pauls.
I can't really think of any problems with it.
It is very well constructed. Like I said earlier that it's neck isn't too thick like some other les paul models. Also it has a nice cut away so you can get to all of the frets well. It was made in korea, where many well constructed guitars are made, and then set-up and inspected by the Epiphone company in the USA.
It feels good, looks good, and sounds good.
