The RC-1 Loop Station has a standard Boss pedal form factor, and allows for recording 12 minutes of stereo loops and nothing else. Indeed, Boss decided to limit the controls on this model to the minimum: recording, overdub, play/stop, undo/redo and clear, as well as a volume knob and a multicolor LED for a visual feedback of the operation mode and loop status.
The RC-1 Loop Station memorizes the last session so you’ll find it again when you switch the pedal on again. And speaking of operation, the RC-1 is powered by a 9V battery or an optional PSA-type adapter.
Last, you’ll find on the little red box two inputs and two outputs for stereo operation (but it’s also mono compatible) and you can connect an external pedal to control the looper features.
