The pickups are really corect bases under the price of the beast, but even with duncan qd ca pete grave. I personally think it is better to avoid the microphones gibsons that are expensive and less than duncan. For my part with the couple jb/59 any lamp plugged into a Boogie Rectifier, well I can tell you it sounds.
see the diference in sound and quality and between epiphone gibson, I find the prices outrageous gibsons. once equipped with good microphones epiphone they do not pale beside the big sisters gibsons.
I sold mine a year ago and a half, and I regret tjs. I redeemed one of ocaz tjs and I am also seduced, yet since I have played both the qqs gibson ...
Anyway if you like the sound les paul it is incredibly good considering the price.
therefore predict the same change of pickups and knobs. and if it is an older version predict the passage of Mecas in Grover or Sperzel -1 for AC as cons for basic Mecas are downright despicable

OVERALL OPINION

Very happy supere grate, yet I tried the free (esp, ltd, ibanez, gibson, jackson, schecter). I love my other brands and other grates but it must be confessed qu'epphone not make fun of the world and shows quite a price (or more) justified.
