Canadian electro-acoustic mandolin.
Volume control and tri-band equalizer.
Good finish (cognac sunburst for me).
A small "little better" level of freight rates that are not well adjusted and just hang on the sides of the handle.
But I chipotte and it does not feel when playing.

UTILIZATION

My first mandolin, so obviously I am less comfortable on a fretboard, but the handle is quite comfortable.
Access to acute is easily done, except the last box, but I suspect my fingers to be partly responsible ...
Otherwise the weight and ergonomics are beyond reproach.
Very easy to use in the settings. Apart from the volume, I hardly touch the balance.

SOUNDS

First good surprise: despite the lack of gills, mandolin sounds good (and strong) in pure sound.
You can type the beef between friends or sing songs scout the fire, you will hear. And you have a nice sound.

Second surprise: the sound once electrified is faithful to the acoustic sound possible.
No sound sour as ugly on a lot of electro-acoustic guitars.
The sound is boosted, period. No deformation. Hat the microphone!

Third surprise: no feedback. Hence the interest of the lack of hearing. I use it in a rock band with drums and the whole armada of things that make noise, and nothing. No feedback. Impressive.

OVERALL OPINION

If you are looking for a mandolin and that the side "electro-acoustic" does not interests you more than that, you may find your happiness elsewhere (though not necessarily cheaper).
For others, and in this price range, I find it difficult to tell you to go your way (of course if you can afford an old Gibson ...).

In my opinion a great value for money (especially if you buy it in Canada).
Comes with a gigbag quality.
