I was wondering what are some good overhead mics. i am current using 1, RODE NT-1. I am looking to get some overhead that dont give a thin trashy sound.

On a budget,

Oktava MC012 or Marshall MXL603s.

Also check out the omnidirectional Beheringer ECM8000's ($40).

"Thin, trashy" can be attributed to many other things, not just mics.
