Behringer ECM8000Published on 11/02/12 at 00:23
I have been using the Behringer ECM8000 for a long time. It only cost 60 bucks but it sounds way better. I am very surprised that it cost so little because if you compare it to microphones that cost 2 and 3 times more than it cost you can barely hear any differences. The ECM8000 has no low cut filter on it though, which could be a difference with some of the higher prices similar microphones. The frequency response is 15 Hz to 20 kHz and the polar pattern is Omni.

OVERALL OPINION

The ECM8000 comes with a gold plated 3 p in XLR connector and it will work with phantom power as long as the voltage is +15 to +48 volts. The response with the ECM8000 is very flat, it is actually more flat...…

OVERALL OPINION

The ECM8000 comes with a gold plated 3 p in XLR connector and it will work with phantom power as long as the voltage is +15 to +48 volts. The response with the ECM8000 is very flat, it is actually more flat than some 200 dollar similar condensers that I have used and heard over the years.
The ECM8000 is very portable, usually when it comes to Behringer and the microphones they put out I usually don’t jump up to get them because I don’t feel that their microphones are as good as they use to be. It seems they have cut back on the quality of producing Behringer microphones over the years. I have used close to 3 different microphones that have went out on me over the last 4 years. Most of them were cheaper microphones though but they still were not reliable. The ECM8000 has held up great and it has been very reliable. I have had no issues with it at all, though I do not use it as much as I use to. I refuse to get rid of it because it is a great back up microphone just in case something unexpected was to happen. I suggest getting a couple of these for back up microphones. Because at this price, you can afford to get a few of them just in case.

Behringer ECM 800

50-year-old musician, Kevin Mattson, has been an entertainer for plenty long. I'm just here to help you whippersnappers get a grip on the golden age in which you live.

Excellent gear is cheap and opportunity is rampant. Talent is a license for hard work. Go for it.

I bought two Behringer ECM 800 microphones on the advice of a famous recording engineer. They were about $50 each from any of the musical dot.coms

Incredibly versatile. This mic can help you calibrate your studio or mixing room's accuracy. But they can also serve as excellent general purpose live mics of choirs, orchestras, church concerts, school events, etc.

Nothing to complain about.

Incredibly versatile. This mic can help you calibrate your studio or mixing room's accuracy. But they can also serve as excellent general purpose live mics of choirs, orchestras, church concerts, school events, etc.

Nothing to complain about.

Comes in a nicely molded case, including mic stand adapters and wind-screen.

There's a paradox about recording music: The larger the group you're recording, the smaller the mic's diphragm should be. Can't explain that here, but the Behringer ECM 800 is a good choice for capturing the music of choirs and orchestras.

Heel electret microphone for use with the prvu ULTRACURVE: Allows you to hound a system that broadcast full according to the acoustics of the room.

The ULTRACURVE sends pink noise in the sound and microphone noise costs the GNR. The ULTRACURVE trace the curve of rponse tural obtained. Is corrected with the zippers of the ULTRACURVE qualiseur to make rponse curve as flat as possible.
The last of ULTRACURVE MODEL 2496 automatically does this work with great agility.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 4-5 years.

Say anything, did his job correctly and without problem. Designed hardware robust and well.

It may be a lack SETTING THE r-hound to gain the level of the microphone. But even if it is a sound source possder heel to the tailgating. I guess this is the indoor rglage of the case, and the builder ProCD a rglage a factory.

Tip: like any micro lectret, do not submit it because it would lose moisture more quickly (a few years) bear lectret. Keep it safe in a tui tench, with a packet of silica gel in tuit.

Report qualitprix unbeatable. Before this MODEL Behringer, you had to pay at least 5 to 10 times more expensive to have a micro bead, c'tait therefore inaccessible. And I'm not sr rponse their curve is better than one.

It is therefore mandatory and indispensable accessory of ULTRACURVE in sound.

The ULTRACURVE (with its micro heel) is compulsory and indispensable tool for the right sound by adjusting the default of any prcisment Systm broadcast and acoustics of the room.

Obviously, the ECM8000 is the price for an excellent complement to the ULTRACURVE they were bought together for 5 years. However, a new use has been interesting.
