I was looking for a midi interface / usb to connect my laptop numrique my keyboard (Korg SP-200).
The objective silent keyboard to play what I know laboriously mouse in various software.
Config with a centrino 1.3 GHz, 512MB RAM, I have not ngligeable latency. In order not to "load" my Systm, I cut the audio output of PC and plays directly into the table the sound of my piano, while my pc crit notes played ... I have the ear of time rel and WRITING too.
Achieved.
I should acqurir audionumrique card which should allow me to rduire latency output, I will prciser the gain obtained by l.

UTILIZATION

Trs stable drivers, apparently not being updated for quite some time now ... (See M-Audio website ...).
Installing a bit surprising, it must be patient and not s'tonner when XP tells you three times in a row he has just DTECT new peripherals (it installs a SERIES of three drivers ...).
I use freeware with Mao, a walk nickel.
No "saturation" MIDI for my use.

OVERALL OPINION

Use for 1 week.
He did what I asked in the performance limits of my Systm so I can not blame him!
This is the 1st interface midi / usb I have.
Report quality / price, I think we can hardly do better ...
I would do without this choice hsiter.
