[NAMM]Orange Launches the DIVO VT1000 Valve Tester
Orange has just unveiled at NAMM 2013 their portable valve tester VT1000 equipped with DIVO technology.
With the DIVO VT1000, users can quickly and simply match and test valves, plus receive a health check as to whether their valves are good, bad or worn. The test process is automatic.
The VT1000 allows for testing both preamp and power valves (one octal and two nine pin valve sockets are present on the box), and 15 references are available, with both UK and US name references if needed (for example EL34 / 6CA7). Simply insert the valve to be tested into the correct socket, select the valve type from the list on the unit and press ‘START’ to test. The results are displayed clearly and concisely using LEDs.
The VT1000 will be available in march, price retails at $499. More details on www.orangeamps.com
