This new model features basswood top and body and a C-profile bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, 22 jumbo frets and pearl dot inlays. It will also feature a black Floyd Rose Special bridge and a single DMT Design humbucker pickup. It boasts a 24.75" scale length and DBD Traction black knobs, and factory-equipped with Dimebag Darrell Signature Hi-Voltage strings by DR Strings.
As its name indicates, the body reproduces the graphics on the cover of Pantera’s album “The Great Southern Trendkill” in a gloss finish, somehow blurring the line even further between a musical instrument and a merchandising item.
Announced at an official MSRP of $540.95, the Dimebag Pantera Southern Trendkill ML is currently tagged at $349 on Dean Guitar’s website, where you’ll also find additional information on it.
