It has a power transistor. It delivers a power of 30 Watts.
I love the facade of settings, with the top left buttons equalizer in the top right contains the amp effects (Chorus / Flanger / Phaser / Tremolo and Reverb / Delay), bottom left button and its Clean; and finally at the bottom left of the volume + gain for the selected interface offering with several sounds at the bottom center of the facade of settings.

UTILIZATION

The configuration is simple.
This amp is not an amp of high quality, but I think it sounds great and it has some pretty nice sounds.

SOUNDS

It suits my style of music.
I play this amp with all my guitars.
My favorite sound is: his chosen Stack Classic; Gain 6; Bass 4; Middle 6; Treble 6.5; Reverb and finally settled on the 4th line.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this amp for about 7 years, and I'm pretty happy with the sound it produces. I'll still buy me soon a Vox AC-30 amp, because it seems that it sounds fire god on these amps ..!
With the experience I change my amp, because it begins to be old and I want a lot of change amp!

UTILIZATION

Simple setup, no need for a manual for a sound, one branch, one climbs the gain and volume, selected amp model you want and go!

SOUNDS

Played with a Cort G254, typed HSS Strat and an Epiphone LP Standard 1996.

This amp very well suited for a beginner to find his sound, home, rehearsal or just flat!

The simulations are performed, qualities Boss pedals, you can find anything, really, the big sound of Fender Mesa Boogie, through Vox and Marshall or Peavey. Some are obviously better than others do, such as the Vox AC30 simulation called "brit combo" is rather dirty, but the Fender "Black Panel" or Mesa "R-Fier" are downright friendly.

Similarly to the effects was of good quality, sound Boss, not surprising since Roland owns the brand! The only regret is not being able to use the reverb and delay together.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 years. I hesitated between this one and the Vox VT20, but the latter is more expensive, I chose Roland, and I'm not disappointed. I remake this choice without hesitation, especially for a beginner, with good value for money, for a comprehensive amp.
We regret the lack of footswitch supplied with the amp only option.

I play the guitar for about a leisure and a half years, and before I had a marshall mg 15 dfx. This is the day and night. I most feel like a marshall to me with the simulation of roland, rather than the marshall 15w. As for saturation, the ESR INCOMPARABLE between the two.
If I had my choice again, I reprendraix this amp in a heartbeat. The amp is ideal for an apartment or too powerful: it deposit something serious!
Do not hesitate, it's the bomb.

UTILIZATION

The rglages are super simple, ergonomics is right up there with a little tampering we get any sound imaginable (or so ..) that the electric guitar has had since its creation!

the power squeezer is handy for big sound at low volume
It's great Intgr the tuner (2 possibilities, note or chromatic note) no need to remove the jack to match ..
one can just regret that the footswitch is either not provided ..

SOUNDS

I like just about every style of music, blues, rock, jazz, reggae, funk etc. .. no problem finding the right sound quickly.
I possde strat us a 40th and a gretsch 5120 and honestly I fell on my ass about the potential of this small bazard! gretsch sound with jazz on the position jc clean or even lead to "black panel "or" tweed "trs with little gain and too much of an attack is superb, clear and prcis same for the saturation of the micro needle the quality of sound is impressive!
modlisation the extras are really the brit combo found that sound pretty good characteristic of vox ac 30, mdium and powerful in the grain as if it rained!
simulation of the bassman (tweed) is excelente, with the stratum and a little gain, the bottom knob 3, the crunch is down for a good blues sound to the grain!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it nonstop for a week of OCAS bought (but nine ..) 100 on ebay, I think it can not beat the same satisfaction as about 200 nine report quality price Breathtaking! (Chinese-made forces ...)
I tried the Vox Valvetronic 30 watt although some function, I have not found a better, except qu'videment the mouth of the vox is when even something else but good. ...
hard to say now what I prfre on this amp is still a bit chilly .. I encourage all beginners guitar or not (I play for about fifteen years) looking for a very good quality amp with a very mini size (much smaller than the vox power scabies .. ) to rush this little marvel! it is obvious that the configuration of this amp permetra to treat in home studio or playing in small club, the 30 watts are the concert but for a larger scale will require predict a bit bigger ..
I personally think that roland did much left to prove in terms of performance and technology will do well to focus now on the CRITERIA equally important design, without being obnoxious because this amp does not compete with some of the race condition ....

UTILIZATION

Super simple setup.
Easily obtained sound that one seeks.
The manual? No need so it's easy and intuitive.

SOUNDS

It can cover a large variety of styles. This is also why I bought it.
I use a Gibson SG Supreme and Monster Cable Studio Pro type SP 1000 (not given these cables between parenthses). I will review my prparer a Gibson I would have a ds soon as it is a MODEL exeptionnel in my opinion.
JC Clean channel is extra clarity and DEFINITIONS.
In the Lead channel, the acoustic is just as fabulous, I love the channel R-Fier trsraliste to sound the TDCA. Channel Black Panel I really like too ... all is well in fact.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since November 2007.
It is convenient for the apartment, while one is perfect in terms of sound quality. In addition, there are all the effects needed. No need for cumbersome pedals.
It is my opinion the best quality price for home use. I hsit with VOX trs good too but I found the Roland even more versatile.
I can only advise for this award. The finish is superb and the control panel easy to read and well organized.
But Beware! It is obvious that the quality of the guitar and the quality of the cables involved in large part to the result final sound. There is nothing ... nothing! Although sr on scne, an SG SUPREME will not only the 30X, you still remain even though raliste and put this place ...

Amp Aesthetics debatable, but pretend nanmoins extremely solid.

I use it on a Vintage AV6h Signature (HSS configuration), and get a relatively wide range of sounds.
As in some previous ones opinion, damage may be that the effects are not switches on spars

Trs good amp that ngoc around 180-200.

30 W, it seems very powerful this amp in any case, I can barely push it home. However, the HP I still look a bit limited in quality.

UTILIZATION

SOUNDS

Well now, the problem is that the sound is flat. All simulations are ringing about but it's plastic, not natural, but narrow and very compressed. Only the acoustic amp simulation is bluffing. Other distort the sound of the guitar, especially how to imitate a Mesa Boogie. Whatever position a microphone, you basically have the same sound. That may be fine when we play in groups or to register on a backing track, that is to say, when the sound of your guitar is a bit hidden by other instruments since then rendering simus is quite flattering.
I have a few effects pedals a lot, I tried to plug into the amp's clean channel. But the problem is that this channel is also a simulation (Fender I think). In itself, this simulation is quite clear, but when you plug a pedal on it, it sounds again very compressed. All the nuances of the game, the imperfections disappear. One has the impression of playing well when ...
I did the test with non-guitarists: I plugged my Hagstrom in my Hughes and Kettner 15 watt with a pedal and then in the Cube with the same effect and I played the same thing: they all found the Hughes sound much more natural and open.

OVERALL OPINION

Well, it was still a good thing this amp: squeeze mode that lowers the volume to 2 watts, which can push the amp in the evening while having the impression that there is still pressure in the acoustic speaker, that's really a plus.
But all things considered, I do not do it again this purchase. Anyway, all the simulations I've heard (pod, vox, etc.) all sound very unnatural when you have a poor standard amp, even rotten, next to make a difference with some effects pedals well chosen. And yet I am far from being a guitar god and I have not tested it so much stuff: I just have an ear accustomed to good Hi-Fi before, one before the 2.1 and other mp3 128k rotten heard on an iPod with an HP dwarf.
