I have not tried other models before but I had seen turn Presonus Monitor Station. It is also seeing this I decided to acquire a monitoring controller.
I love the big knob for volume, really accurate.
The treatment given to the sound is really correct, especially since I work in a room not at all treated for computer music (my living room). This is not a panacea, but it's not correct bad anyway ...
The ability to connect multiple sources is not too bad. So I have my sound card studio "A", I put a RCA "B" to connect if my soundcard DJ, and I connected a mini-jack "C" for side listening leisure (smartphone or laptop)
In negative quibble a bit, this is the mode of selection of sources is not very obvious.
The quality / price is not bad, as it costs only a few dollars more than the Mackie Big Knob, but the treatment in addition, it makes a difference.
Of course I would do this choice. Now it remains for me to get in line at my monitors
