UTILIZATION

I would not say that the general configuration is simple because like any pedal, it's not really plug and play and I also still had a little time to find the right setup for my ear.
Having said this pedal has exactly the same settings on the amp channel is a volume knob, bass, to medium, to gain and trebble, so we can say that it's not really making head either!
It happens quite easily to adjust the pedal and whatever setting it sounds so easy editing sounds.

As for the manual for this pedal does not serve big thing but small indications from the medium knob and bass knob are useful, for example.

SOUND QUALITY

I was looking for a pedal with a bit like an amp and I served!
I do not think this pedal can replace the amp with the same name and I do not think it sounds the same way, especially since it depends on the head amp or preamp where the pedal goes.

In any case I get the sounds I wanted a typical distortion heavy rock / metal with a not too sharp and warm sound that offered my amp head.
I use the 7-string guitar with an Ibanez RG and a guitar luthier with max gain, lots of mids, treble just over half and low around 10 and it is with these settings I get the sound I wanted.

Some felt it was not enough gain but is not someone who abuses the gain I found at most there had what it took to win.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 months and I had not really tested other pedals (detail) before. I was charmed by the various videos of the net and found some positive reviews on the internet.

What I like about this pedal is above all the sound that comes coupled with my amp head, but I especially like the practical side first compared to the boost function that can be left active although putting the pedal off thereby not to tap if for example you have to go to a solo game after party in the clear but I especially love the remote control feature that allows the pedal a midi switcher.

I think the price / quality ratio is very good, not very surprising from Bogner!
It is certainly quite expensive (250 € new at least) but the quality is there, it is undeniable.
I found a lot of faults with other pedals more dedicated to large distortion but there really are not.
Finishing the pedal is sober and classy, ​​the sound is there and some functions are well thought out, the only flaw in itself would be the smallest opportunities sisters Ecstasy Ecstasy Red and Blue!

With the experience I certainly would do this choice unless Bogner lot improved this latest version!
