UTILIZATION

the grip is a bit confusing: we must fine tune the overdrive: drive, tone (very small volume pot) and level acute. it engages with the switch right. until then it's simple.

the boost is more complicated: it adds the drive upstream of boost and adjustable bass level. the inverter is a filter command: in the middle, no filter, top filter medium acute lower filter medium severe. ZZ Top here we are ...

the right switch controls the overall effect: it always switches the OD, with or without the boost as they had selected or not (I know it is not clear as it says but it's very convenient use)

SOUND QUALITY

overdrive fully respects the original kernel, no sound distortion, almost no breath. is a drive plate, which did not alter the function of its upstream or downstream of the pedal. If it is placed in a chaining quality is perfect, otherwise we must choose a more distinctive product. action on the tone attenuates the treble.

The boost for his remains neutral without filter, cons in high or low position, it was very typical sound and simply HUGE. I know of no equivalent.

To balance the two modes, one must grope a bit. Once the proper setting is found, there are two pedals underfoot, with sounds of impeccable quality.

on the other hand, emulation of HP does not convince me: there's breath and the sound is ugly to my taste ...

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two years with a solid body, an archtop, but mostly ... on a nylon electro! I climb down the level and the drive to enhance the sound that is almost clear (game picking), I cut the pedal j'enclenche agreements and the boost for a real distortion.
