Yamaha S15e

* Did you try many other models before getting this one?

Not many, AudioPhony speakers of eminence, of Wharfedale EVPX-15
Of all the models I tried the sound is definitely better with the Yamaha S15E, at least for the medium /acute really good for the price. According to the lower they are good too, but obviously his lack of presence in relation to the Wharfedale (twice the power!).
Compared to the AudioPhony, the t-15 is a little more powerful, the sound is better with the Yamaha S15E, sharp as bass.
* What do you like most/least about them?

Most: The sound quality, the medium / acute non-aggressive, even at high power.
Least: The power to weight ratio (20kg/250w prg) but it is generally a good brand, and it's expensive and more compact.

Lack a bit of finish in the bass, I suddenly turn up with 2 subwoofers and it's perfect!

* What is your opinion about the value for the price?

Good in nine, very good buy. You pay a little more but the quality is worth it. € 320 the pair bought second-hand, I'm still happy!
* Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? ...

Yes, it is a well-designed model that does what is asked of it!  I will turn shortly to a more powerful model (used nine because the price is too high for me) to avoid using my subwoofers, but it all depends on what you want to do.
