The Bazooka is a medium gain overdrive pedal for guitar, which tones will remind the Fender Brown Face sound, though David Allen says that when pushed, you’ll find something of Marshall in it.
The pedal is equipped with three Elevation, Chatter and Range knobs, for level, gain and tone controls as well as a three-way switch to vary the voicings (David Allen describes them as if you were changing from a 2×12 to a 1×12 and then a 4×12, in order to give you an idea of the medium and lows boost between the three positions). A true bypass footswitch is also included and the pedal is powered by a 9V DC battery or external supply.
Though it is branded D.Allen Pickups, the Bazooka overdrive is available at the Lovepedal website for $199.92 sharp. More info at www.dallenpickups.com (where you’ll find a link to the order page).
